Worlds First Portable Battery Swapping Station for Electric Vehicles

Our tech is unique, so we have patents

We got two grants and one CCD investment until June 2024. Technology and unique features were validated by a Tier-1 IP firm.

“A small team, with a grant of around $12,000, worked rigorously to complete the technology and validate the IP.”

During the early stages of development at Mechlae, we realized that unlocking the true potential of battery swapping required a unique and innovative approach. To stand out, we needed a solution that was user-friendly, adaptable, cost-effective, and better featured than existing technologies in the market. Our mission was to overcome the challenges that had long hindered the adoption of battery-swapping ecosystems.

Through extensive research, we identified key barriers to progress. The heavy weight of batteries made them cumbersome to handle, while fire hazards from mishandling posed significant safety risks. Limited accessibility of swap units further restricted adoption, and the high costs of building and maintaining swap networks deterred investment in the infrastructure. These challenges inspired us to rethink battery-swapping solutions from the ground up.

Our intellectual properties, validated and filed by a tier-one IP firm, reflect our focus on usability and adaptability. Two flagship products, the Mini Swap Station and our proprietary battery pack, embody our innovative vision. Designed to be compact, lightweight, and safe, the Mini Swap Station makes battery swapping more accessible and user-friendly, while the battery pack offers advanced features tailored to customer needs.

Together, these technologies demonstrate the capabilities of our innovation, breaking barriers in cost, safety, and usability. By addressing these challenges, Mechlae is setting a new standard for battery swapping and establishing a scalable model for energy as a service. We are driving a sustainable, user-centric future for light EVs and beyond.
