We started as I
I’m Ragul Nishanth, the founder of Mechlae. Born in a small town in India, I harbored ambitious dreams from an early age. After dropping out of college in 2017, I honed my skills in technology and business for next 4 years. It was then that I met my co-founder, and together during 2022, we began developing innovative solutions and business strategies for Mechlae.
Our ambitions have always been big. We aimed to revolutionize the battery swapping industry, breaking barriers with truly user-friendly battery swapping technology. Our dedication and hard work led to the creation of Mechlae’s proprietary battery swapping innovation that works in any climate anywhere around Globe.

February 2022
Ragul and Rajiv met at the Delhi Entrepreneur Meet and instantly connected over their shared passion for business and technology.
February 2022
Ragul and Rajiv initiated a discussion about battery swapping during a conference in Coimbatore, under the brand name Mechlae.
May 2022
we dedicated two months to complete basic R&D on proprietary technology and incorporated the company.
Aug 2022
We won first Grant funded by SP-TBI Mumbai, under SISFS scheme.
February 2024
Mechlae Energy participated in the 7th Global Conviction hosted by IMT Ghaziabad and IIT Kanpur. Among 500+ startups, we ranked in the top 10 out of the Super 50 pitches, judged by 250+ investors and delegates.
March 2024
We were able to complete the tech and file the intellectual property.
April 2024
We won the second Grant of Nidhi Prayas and received support from IKP Eden. At the same time, we secured third-round funding from CCD investment under SISFS funding.
June 2024
We validated our IP for our proprietary technology with a Tier-1 IP legal firm and received an excellent validation report.
